What this website collects
Nothing about you. The site sets no cookies, has no accounts or forms, uses no analytics or tracking, shows no ads, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. Every file comes from kegeltimer.com.
Your progress stays in your browser
Your sessions, hold-test results and settings (daily goal, sound, vibration and voice cues) are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device, so the timer remembers your plan. They are never sent to us or anyone else, and we cannot see them. You can delete them at any time with "Clear history" on the home screen, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
To work offline, the site also keeps a copy of its own files in your browser's cache (a service worker). That copy contains no personal data.
If you turn on voice cues, your browser's built-in speech feature reads the prompts aloud. Depending on your browser and the voice it uses, the browser maker may process that text; it never includes anything about you.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.). To deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We see only aggregated visit counts, never data about individual visitors. Cloudflare may process data in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
When you email us
If you email hello@boldbirdstudio.com, we use your address and what you write only to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Email is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing and stored in Google's Gmail. We delete it when it's no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it. Please don't send health details you don't want to share.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Email us to do any of these. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
